How long have you been snowboarding? About 10 years
What is your preferred discipline? The Half Pipe
What are your snowboarding aspirations? Become an all round rider .... compete in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics
What have been your best of times in the sport? The Olympics ... riding with the team .. the early days back at my local resort .. first comp first win
What have been your worst of times in the sport? Multiple shoulder dislocations which basically killed 2007 season, and my brother James not being able to join me at the Turin Olympics because of a similar injury
Where is your favourite place to board ? Anywhere with friends
What would be your advice to up andcoming riders? Dont focus on one dicipline as the sport is still developing and changing so fast
What has been your biggest challenge to date? Packing to travel
What do you hope to achieve this season? Get back to the World Cup level in half pipe ... as well as develop good skills on kickers and rails .... become a good all round rider
Is there anything you do before acompetition ? Panic! Try and think positive focus on the run .... but honestly the nerves do tend to win, at the Olympics I was shaking like mad
What are your other favourite sports? Football ... still play for a womens team when I get back home in Gloucestershire
What do you do to relax? Watch a bit of Gilmore Girls ..... knit ...
If you had a superpower what would it be? Flying
What is your nickname? Boarder when playing footy with the girls ... Shananaby when back on the old peaks in Ontario ... and my sisters got loads ....
If you were not a on the Snowboard Team what would you be doing? Playing football ... I was a serious player when I was 16 - 17 playing or training everyday .. had the opportunity to try out for the Man United womens team but chose snowboarding
Who is your secret crush? The ratio for the sport is definately in my favour, too many to choose from!
What’s on your ipod? Dont have one .... maybe next season?!
What is your favourite food? Mexican followed close by Chinese
Can you tell us something no-body else knows about you? I have a scar on my leg in the shape of the Flex Capacitor (it's the thing that makes the Dolorian car time travel in 'Back to the Future') from a giant dog bite!
What song is most likely to make you move on the dance floor? Not much of a dancer but something I can sing along to
What can you be heard saying most often e.g. your favourite catchphrase/motto? Wicked
